When I saw this wedding submission, I was instantly impressed with how beautifully the bride was able to incorporate peaches into the decor and design. Peaches – the actual, physical fruit – make appearances in the flower girl baskets, the centerpieces, even the cake topper! In addition to the lovely peach details (and the peach signature cocktail!) there are plenty of lovely DIY details, including the wooden peach boxes incorporated into some of the centerpieces – the bride hand painted “Roquemore & Co” on the boxes, a nod to her new surname. The flowers are also stunning in this wedding, although the bride comes from a floral family; her mother and grandmother had been florists and Erica grew up learning to care for flowers. For the wedding itself, a close family friend who owns a floral shop handled the beautiful blooms. And of course the entire wedding is fabulously captured by Andie Freeman Photography – including my favorite shot of the couple with wind dramatically billowing Erica’s veil (above). Enjoy!
Congratulations, Bill & Erica!
