I’m excited to share this children’s birthday party, styled by Lucia at Come Join Us. There are so many adorable details – it reminds me of playing doctor with my friends as a little girl (I predate Doc McStuffins by quite a bit). I love the creative menu choices that play on the theme – everyone knows that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, so apple slices are a must! Enjoy!
In Lucia’s words:
“We had medical kits from the dollar store and little stuffed dolls as the patients the boys received teddy bears instead of dolls. We started with coloring books to wait for all the guests. I found a puzzle and had all the guests write their name and draw a picture on the back of the puzzle as a keepsake for the birthday girl. We then used our medical kits to check on our patients. After the check-ups we played dance music so the guests could dance.”
Marshmallow: “Lambie” tails
Cookies: band aids, hearts, and flowers
Hershey kisses: “Boo Boo kisses”
Apple slices: “An Apple a day keeps the doctor away”
Pretzels sticks dipped in candy coating: “Pretzel rod tongue depressors”
